Do I drive my own vehicle?
Yes, you will drive your own Vintage, Series 2 or 3 Land Rover. Don’t worry, you will be accompanied by an experienced tour guide infront to make ensure that you are getting to most from your tour.
Are we by ourselves when out on tours?
No, you will be accompanied by an experienced tour guide driving infront, to help direct you on the tour.
Is there a lunch break?
Yes, on full-day tours there is an allocated 1 hour of time in which you can grab lunch from the local café and take a break.
Do I have to pay for lunch?
Tea coffee and other light refreshments are included in the price you pay but lunch is not.
Can we stay at the cottage?
Yes! We have a cottage that sleeps 4 (up to 6 at an extra charge) available at Graig Farm for those that can’t get enough of the stunning scenery. Guests can expect towels and bedding provided, a private hot tub, private parking and of course, it’s dog friendly. The whole family is welcome! Click here to see availability.
What times do the tours start and end?
Full Day – The day starts with a 10:00am briefing and ends after a debrief at 5:00pm
Half Day (Morning slot) – The day starts with a 10:00am briefing and ends after a debrief at 1:00pm
Half Day (Afternoon slot) – The day starts with a 1:30pm briefing and ends after a debrief at 4:30pm
How old do I have to be to drive on a tour?
You must be 21 years old and hold a full driving license to drive all Land Rovers.
How many people can I bring with me?
Including the driver, you can bring 1 other person per Land Rover. Bigger groups can book more than 1 Land Rover.
Where are the tours located?
The tours start and end at Graig Farm, on the outskirts of Newtown, Wales. On the trip itself, you will travel through the beautiful Mid-Welsh countryside.
I have points on my licence, can I still drive on a tour?
Yes, we do allow people who have points on their licence to still drive on one of our tours.
Can more than one of us drive the Land Rover?
Yes, as long as you are over 21 years of age and signed the agreement form.
Can I choose which Land Rover I drive?
Yes, if you let us know once you’ve made your booking which Land Rover you’d like to drive we will make a note on your booking.
