GENERAL TERMS

You must ensure that prior to attending the experience you have read and understood all the terms and conditions and can comply with the obligations set out.

Drivers

All drivers must hold a full driving license and be over 21 years of age and bring it on the day of the experience.

The tour guide is only there to navigate your day. You as the Driver are responsible for your vehicle and the safety of your passengers.

You will need to sign a short agreement on arrival at the farm.

Cancellation Policy

For a full refund, you must cancel up to 2 weeks in advance before the experience.

If you cancel less than 2 weeks before the experience day, the amount you paid will not be refunded.

There is a possibility that we cannot provide the experince in line with your booking because of events or circumstances beyond our control.

We may cancel a booking at any time by writing to you if we are unable, for circumstances beyond our control, to carry out your booking and provide you with the experience.

1 PERSONAL INFORMATION

1:1 We will only collect personal data that is required to deliver the products and services that you have requested. We will keep your personal data for as long as we need it to provide these products and services. We may also keep it to comply with our legal obligations, respond to queries and resolve any disputes, to meet our legitimate interests and to enforce our rights.

1:2 We have safeguards in place with our service providers to ensure that your data is kept securely and used appropriately

 1:3 We may share your personal data …

a)            with those third parties who need to handle it so we can provide to you the products, services you have signed up to or requested, for example, payment processing providers;

b)            if we are under a duty to disclose or share your personal data in order to comply with any legal or regulatory obligation or requests, or in order to enforce these Terms or to investigate actual or suspected breaches.

2 GENERAL CONDITIONS SPECIFIC TO A DRIVING EXPERIENCE

2:1 All drivers must hold a full and valid driving license. You will be asked to produce your driving license on the day of the Experience so please ensure you bring it with you.  Failure to do so may result in you not being able to participate in the Experience.

2:2 By participating in the Experience you agree that:

(a) you do not know of any circumstances which would disqualify you from driving;

(b) you are not currently suffering from any physical or mental condition which would restrict or impair your alertness or driving ability and of which you have not informed us;

(c) your eyesight meets the standard required for driving.

2:3 The course may be unsuitable and therefore not recommended for those who suffer from back problems, neck problems, heart conditions (or any other similar conditions). It may also be unsuitable for those who are pregnant.

 3 YOUR OBLIGATIONS

 3:1 Whilst attending the Experience, you will at all times follow all lawful instructions and any other relevant rules notified to you.

3:2 You will not at any time whilst attending the Experience be under the influence of alcohol or any drugs, which may impair your alertness, and driving ability and you will behave in a safe, appropriate and prudent manner.

3:3 You will at all times exercise the necessary and high degree of care and attention whilst participating in the Experience.

3:4 If you suffer from any disability that could impair your access to the facilities and/or vehicles used in the Experience, you will inform us prior to attending the Experience so that we can make any required and available adjustments.

3:5 You will be responsible for the safekeeping of any property you take with you on the Experience. We take no responsibility for any property left at the Vintage Land Rover Base whilst out on your Experience.

3:6 You will be responsible for any speeding and parking fines incurred whilst driving the vehicle and subject to all applicable motoring laws and regulations.

3:7 You will be required to wear appropriate clothing whilst on the tour. This includes sensible footwear and warm clothing. We will not be held responsible for injuries caused from wearing inappropriate clothing – including open toe sandals and flip flops etc.

4 CHILDREN

.4.1 Children must be aged 13 or older and must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times while on Vintage Land Rover Tours. The parent or guardian remains responsible for the child at all times.

4.2 Our Land Rovers do not have rear seat belts. Consequently, only children aged 13 or older are allowed to ride in the rear seats. Facilities for children under 13 are limited. We recommend that children who require child seats do not attend. . Children who are under 13 and do not require a booster are allowed in the front so this could be a maximum of two adults and two children. If you are unsure, please call us for further advice

5 ANIMALS

5:1 We do not allow dogs to accompany you on tour.

6 INSURANCE  POLICY

All vehicles are insured (fully comprehensive) for any driver over 21 Years of age Document Available on request..

Our Public Liability Insurance covers all party members while you are on the Vintage Land Rover Tour, with coverage applicable to incidents for which liability is proven to be caused by Vintage Land Rover Tour (VLT) operations. This cover is subject to the terms, conditions, and exclusions of the policy. Available on request.

Accidents/Damages When you participate in vintage Land Rover tours, you agree to a £300 excess liability charge, which applies in the event of any bumps or damages incurred to the vehicle during your drive. 

Off the premises (i.e Not at Vintage Land Rover premises) you are responsible for your own safety (and those in your party) (SECTION 2  ) and the vehicle safety (SECTION 4)
