Fabulous day out. My wife bought me this as a birthday gift and we both had an absolute blast! I was in a 70s Series 3 Land Rover which was great fun to drive. I'd highly recommend this driving experience.

An absolutely unbeatable day. I was nervous to start as I’ve never done off-roading before but we felt so looked after and the guidance was absolutely fantastic- it was the perfect mix of authentic and organised. Only warning is the desire to buy a landy becomes considerably stronger after this experience…! Thanks so much for an absolutely incredible day! 🙂
A fantastic day out in amazing vehicles run by wonderful people. Our trip had just the perfect balance of spectacular tarmac lanes and tough green lanes, this isnt a tour for cosseted museum pieces you really get to see what these fabulous old vehicles can do. Tea and Welsh cakes were a great touch and our dogs enjoyed having their bed in the back.
I got this experience for my Dad who is a real Land Rover enthusiast and it did not disappoint! Starting with a warm welcome and a cuppa, we set off with Jonathan into the Welsh countryside. The routes were fantastic and the views were amazing. Jonathan will give you a great offroad experience and my Dad loved it! Would highly recommend and great value for money!

Just Brilliant! Jonathan has a great fleet of Land Rovers. Very welcoming. Excellent route round the Welsh countryside. It is not just a road run, you go on Green Lanes too. Total fun day start to finish. If this sort of thing is on your radar look no further, just book it!
What a fantastic experience. To celebrate my younger sons's special birthday I arranged a days trip with Jon and his organisation. James has his own series 3 vintage land rover so was will used to the handling of these great vehicles . We had 5 and a half hour out covering over 70 miles, had lunch on top of a mountain, plenty of off road experiences and passed through some fantastic mid-wales scenery.. Although wet during the day the land rovers performed superbly giving James valuable experience when using his own vintage vehicle. The hospitality was greatly appreciated along with Jon's banter. Excellent value for money and although i rode shotgun for the day it was a tremendous day. I would recommend a trip. Jon made sure that in difficult sections we were adequately briefed and confident to take on the off road challenge. Brillant, many thanks Jon. r

Bought my wife a full day experience and I don’t think she stopped smiling all day, from the warm friendly welcome at the farm all through the days driving including lunch atop the hills over loose Rhayader, the day was excellent from start to finish.Would highly recommend for anyone with an interest in Land Rovers.

An amazing experience...... Wonderful old Land Rovers, perfectly maintained variants from 1964 to 1984. Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly, he gave us clear instructions on how to get the best from the vehicles. From a great cup of tea at the initial briefing in the farmhouse to the debrief in the yard after our trip - everything was provided with the highest level of professionalism...... We had a great time and can't recommend Vintage Land Rover Tours highly enough.... Thanks ever so much - we will be back for more!!
Wow, what can I say? It was awesome from start to finish. Such a great day out. It was a surprise for my fiancé's 50th birthday. He had a smile on his face all day, while driving a vintage Land Rover.....and now he wants one of his own! Thank you very much Jonathan. Highly recommended. I give it a 6 out of 5 stars.

It could only be 5 stars! We had a totally wonderful time.It took a little while (and some leg strength!) to get the hang of the vintage land rover but it was so wonderful. Rumbling along, up, down and jigging around we took in some great on and off road landscapes and learnt some new driving skills along the way.Can't recommend it enough. If we had more time we would do it again!!!
My wife and I went with a couple of friends on full day tour last Sunday. We had the best day and so much fun doing something we’d always wanted to try. What’s not to like about old Land Rovers and stunning Welsh scenery up in the hills.Jonathan and Sally are so lovely and helpful, and Jonathan’s knowledge of the area and old land Rovers is second to none.We covered about 70 miles starting with a good long drive on quiet country lanes getting used to the vehicles and then started turned off to go on approved green lanes.We’d taken a picnic with us giving Jonathan greater flexibility on where he could take us so lunch with Land Rovers near the top of a mountain is going to take some beating on a beautiful sunny day.If you haven’t done a tour, do it, and you have - do it again. We definitely will.
This activity is well worth a review. We booked a full day tour for Sat 18th Feb and were not dissapointed. There were x3 of us in our party and we all had a go. It was refreshing to do an outdoor activity which tested our abilities and delivered some new experiences for us all. Both on road and off road the whole day felt safe but with an eliment of 'mild peril' (especially some off road sections when you got stuck). All three of us enjoyed the day and have the videos/photo's and sore arms (no power steering) to prove it. Many thanks to our guide (Jonathan) for delivering a great day out.
Booked a vintage landrover tour for my husbands birthday. They were really welcoming and friendly. He got to drive a lovely vintage landrover and absolutely loved it. As a passenger I enjoyed it. Would definitely recommend it. Guide was great 👍
